This Privacy Policy describes our rules regarding the management, processing and storage of personal data submitted in connection with our services.
The term “personal data” means information about an identified or identifiable natural person.

Consent

By registering for our services or by filling out a contact form on our site (www.le-fer-savoir.fr), you agree and accept that Le Fer Savoir may collect, process, store and/or use the personal data submitted in accordance with the rules set out below.
By giving us your consent, you also retain the right to rectify, the right to be forgotten and/or the right to have your personal data deleted.

Personal data is collected on our site by Le Fer Savoir, whose head office is located at 8, rue Conrad Kilian, 07270 Lamastre.

Data collected on the site

When you register for our services, the following data may be collected and processed: email, first name, last name, telephone number, IP address(es) and domain name. When using our services, the following data is collected and processed: connection data and navigation data when you allow it. Some data is collected automatically as a result of your actions on the site (see the paragraph on cookies below). Data submitted should not include sensitive personal data, such as government identifiers (such as social security numbers, driver’s license numbers, or taxpayer identification numbers), complete credit card or personal bank account numbers, medical records, or health care application information associated with individuals.

Purposes of processing and legal basis

The primary purpose of collecting your personal data is to provide you with a safe, optimal, efficient and personalized experience. To this end, you agree that we may use your personal data to: provide and facilitate the operation of our services, including conducting checks on you to do so;

For customers who have registered directly on the site, we process their data for the performance of the service contract.

Recipients of your data

The personal data collected on the site is intended for Le Fer Savoir’s own use.

Le Fer Savoir does not sell or rent your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes under any circumstances. In addition, Le Fer Savoir does not disclose your personal data to third parties unless

(1) you (or your account administrator acting on your behalf) request or authorize the disclosure;

(2) disclosure is required to process transactions or provide services you have requested (e.g., for purposes of verifying your shipping practices or in connection with processing a purchase card with credit card companies);

(3) Le Fer Savoir is compelled to do so by a governmental authority or regulatory body, in the event of a judicial requisition, subpoena or other similar governmental or judicial requirement, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

Your rights to data protection

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act and the European General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (RGPD), you have the rights of access, rectification and deletion of your personal data, which you can exercise by sending us a support ticket to email contact@le-fer-savoir.fr. Your requests will be processed within 30 days. We may ask that your request be accompanied by a photocopy of proof of identity or authority. If you have opened a customer account, you can also change your personal data yourself at any time by logging into your account and clicking on “edit my profile”.

Cookies/Tracking

As a general rule, Le Fer Savoir uses cookies and tracking to improve and personalize the site and/or measure the audience. Cookies are files stored on your computer’s hard drive while you are browsing the Internet, including the Site. A cookie is not used to collect personal data without your knowledge, but to record information about your navigation on the site, which can be read directly by Le Fer Savoir during your subsequent visits and requests on the site.

If you choose to refuse all cookies, your navigation may be reduced to access certain pages of the site. In Chrome :

Click the wrench icon in the browser toolbar. Select the Settings option. Click Show Advanced Settings. In the Privacy section, click the Content Settings button. To enable cookies, select Allow local data storage in the Cookies section. This will allow both proprietary and third-party cookies. To accept only proprietary cookies, select Block all third-party cookies without exception. To disable cookies, select Prohibit all sites from storing data in the Cookies section.

In Safari :

If applicable, open Safari. Choose Safari > Preferences, then click Privacy. In the Block Cookies section, select whether Safari should accept cookies from the Site and under what circumstances. If you want to restrict the use of cookies for another browser or on a mobile device, go to the official web page of the browser or device manufacturer or consult the documentation they have provided to you and follow the instructions.

DATA RETENTION

At Le Fer Savoir we keep your data in active databases, log files or other types of files for as long as you use our services. Le Fer Savoir only stores your data for as long as it is needed to provide the service, and no longer than three months after your account is closed (unless otherwise required by law). You will be able to access your personal data as long as your account remains active and for a period of time that may vary depending on the type of data involved. Your event data (e.g. statistics) will be deleted every 13 months while the account remains active. The content of your message will only be stored for a period of 6 days. Other data can be deleted at any time during active use of your account, in accordance with the provisions set out above.

LOCATION OF DATA STORAGE AND TRANSFERS

The hosting servers on which Le Fer Savoir processes and stores the databases are located exclusively within the European Union. Le Fer Savoirs undertakes to inform you immediately, insofar as we are legally authorized to do so, in the event of a request from an administrative or judicial authority concerning your data.

SECURITY

Within the framework of its services, Le Fer Savoir attaches the utmost importance to the security and integrity of its customers’ personal data. Thus, and in accordance with the RGPD, Le Fer Savoir undertakes to take all necessary precautions to preserve the security of the data and in particular to protect it against any accidental or illicit destruction, accidental loss, alteration, distribution or unauthorized access, as well as against any other form of illicit processing or communication to unauthorized persons.

To this end, Le Fer Savoir implements industry standard security measures to protect personal data from unauthorized disclosure. In addition, in order to prevent unauthorized access, ensure accuracy and proper use of data, Le Fer Savoir has implemented appropriate electronic, physical and managerial procedures to safeguard and preserve the data collected through its services. However, no one can consider themselves completely safe from a hacker attack.

That is why, in the event that a security breach affects you, Le Fer Savoir is committed to informing you as soon as possible and to making its best efforts to take all possible measures to neutralize the intrusion and minimize its impact. In the event that you suffer damage due to the exploitation of a security vulnerability by a third party, Le Fer Savoir is committed to providing you with all the necessary assistance so that you can assert your rights. You should keep in mind that any user, client or hacker who discovers a security vulnerability and exploits it may be subject to criminal sanctions and that Le Fer Savoir will take all measures, including filing a complaint and/or taking legal action, to preserve the data and rights of its users and its own and to limit the impact as much as possible.

CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY

Le Fer Savoir reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time, particularly in response to changes in applicable laws and regulations. Any changes will be notified to you via our website at least thirty (30) days before they take effect.
